Top 5 CBD E-liquids For Sale Online

CBD e-liquid sales have been increasing year after year as more studies and information about the benefits of CBD emerge, but all CBD e-liquids are not created equal. There are a few metrics to look at when deciding on an e-liquid including safety, quality, CBD content, CBD extraction process and the source of hemp.

What is CBD E-liquid

E-liquid describes the juice used in Vaporizers or Electronic Cigarettes. It's base ingredients are Vegetable Glycerin (VG) and/or Propylene Glycol (PG). CBD or Full spectrum extracts are then added with food flavoring. There is no nicotine in CBD e-liquid. Ratios of VG/PG vary from e-liquid to e-liquid but we recommend and high VG or max VG e-liquid whenever possible and no PG blend higher than a 50/50 ratio. The Vegetable Glycerin is the main carrier for the CBD. It accounts for the thickness, or density of the vapor produced. Propylene Glycol is an additive that carries flavoring. The devices that are used to vape CBD juices vary as well from Ego style vape pens to high end box mods and tanks.

Is CBD E-liquid safe?

Vegetable Glycerin and Propylene Glycol are both FDA approved for human consumption and have been used in nicotine based e-liquids since 2003. CBD (Cannabidiol) is not regulated by the FDA but current studies have found no evidence of negative side effects. CBD and other Cannabis extracts have also been widely used for decades with no known reported health risks. Food flavorings are also FDA approved, however early reports on the ingredient Diacetyl caused concern in the e-liquid world in the early 2000's. Diacetyl is used as a butter flavoring and was included in flavors such as Popcorn and Cotton Candy. Fear of this ingredient stemmed from a report published in 2002 citing employees at a popcorn factory that developed a lung disease, later deemed "popcorn lung", after inhalation of high doses of Diacetyl. Reports of popcorn lung risks associated with vaping have since been debunked as levels of Diactyl in these products are minuscule. The average inhaled daily dose of Diacetyl with vaping was 9 micrograms VS smokers who averaged 6718 micrograms. Despite this knowledge most e-juice manufacturers have removed Diacetyl from their products.

Does CBD (Cannabidiol) get you high?

No. CBD is non-psychoactive and Cannabidiol extracted from industrial hemp contains less than 1% THC, the psychoactive compound found in "Marijuana" that gets you "high."

CBD extraction

There are a few methods of extracting Cannabidiol from hemp. We recommend CBD products that use Supercritical CO2 extraction which uses high pressurized, low temperature carbon dioxide to isolate and preserve the medicinal quality of the oil.

Hemp source

We highly recommend CBD e-liquid that has been extracted from American Industrial Hemp. Federal regulations require hemp to contain less than 0.3% THC. American hemp is also held to stricter regulations than hemp imported from abroad.

Are the capsules as good/effective as vape liquids? Also, how many single doses are in the various sized bottles and capsules. Thank You, Valerie
